Hyeyeon Kim is a passionate performer and educator in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player in the United States and South Korea. Ms. Kim serves as a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas as well as a flute instructor in Denton ISD and Aubrey ISD. As a soloist, she performed ‘Sonata Rubata’ by Steven Harlos as a flutist, piccoloist, and alto flutist in Dr.Harlos’ recital in 2023 and Busan Young Artist Festival Concerto Concert in 2017. Also, she had an International Chamber Series Concert as a Flute and Harp Duo, supported by Louisville Lake Symphony with a harpist Paulina Delgadillo in 2021. Ms. Kim has performed extensively in chamber and large ensemble settings as a member of Dallas Asian Wind, Inje Flute Ensemble, UNT Wind Symphony, and UNT Symphony Orchestra. She has been a winner the 2020 University of North Texas Concerto Competition.

Ms.Kim received her Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Inje University. In 2020, she earned a Performance Diploma of music in flute from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She also received a Master of Music degree in the flute performance at the University of North Texas College of Music in 2022, and she is now pursuing her Doctoral of Music degree in flute performance at UNT, studying with Dr. Mary Karen Clardy.

Catherine Wardle is a private lesson teacher and performer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is a member of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra and can often be seen playing both the oboe and English Horn with them. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a masters degree in oboe performance. While at UNT she had the privilege of playing and recording with the UNT Wind Symphony and the UNT Symphonic Band. She has a bachelor’s degree in music education and performance from Hardin-Simmons University. While there she was awarded the Presser Scholarship and named the first female drum major of The World Famous Cowboy Band. Her primary teachers include James Ryon and Susetta Rockett. She currently resides in Aubrey with her husband Caleb and two boys, Alex and Theo.

Julia Daniels is a clarinet performer and educator in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. She has performed as principal clarinet, E-flat clarinetist, and Bass clarinetist with multiple ensembles including the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, North Texas Symphony Orchestra, Decatur Municipal Band, Cedar Rapids Municipal Band. Julia has performed in summer festivals including the National Music Festival, Buffet Crampon Summer Clarinet Academy, and the LIFT Clarinet Academy. Julia is currently earning her Masters in Clarinet Performance at the University of North Texas studying with Dr. Phillip O. Paglialonga. At North Texas, she performs in Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, NOVA new music ensemble, and the Graduate Clarinet Quartet. Julia received her Bachelors in Clarinet Performance at Millikin University, studying with Dr. David Cook, where she performed in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble; Eidolan Woodwind Quintet; Clarinet Quartet; Millikin Clarinet Choir; and a self-formed Clarinet, Flute, and Piano Trio. In her undergraduate degree, Julia also won the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra Concerto/Aria Competition in 2021 and 2024. Julia currently teaches clarinet lessons for the Aubrey Independent School District and Lewisville Independent School District. Julia has previously taught lessons at the North Texas Virtual Music Lessons program, Millikin Community Arts Academy, Five Cities Baroque Foundation Youth Academy, and masterclasses for the Millikin University All-State Band/Orchestra Workshop

Cameron Montgomery is a saxophonist and educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Saxophone Performance at the University of North Texas. He earned both his Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from Lamar University, where he developed a passion for both classical and jazz performance. In addition to his work as a saxophonist, Cameron has studied voice and performed in collegiate choir ensembles. During his studies, he performed as a soloist with the Symphony of Southeast Texas and toured Spain with the Lamar University Jazz Band. His performance experience includes solo, chamber, orchestral, jazz, and choral settings, allowing him to explore a wide range of musical styles. Cameron is passionate about sharing his love of music through performance and education while continuing to grow as a performer, scholar, and advocate for the saxophone.

Zachary McKinon is a horn player, instructor, arranger, and composer in the Denton area. He currently studies under Dr. Stacie Mickens at the University of North Texas as a Master’s student in Horn Performance. McKinon has had various performance opportunities in his musical career. This would include concerts with the UNT Symphony Orchestra, the UNT Wind Symphony, the UNT Center Brass Quintet, and the Sewanee Summer Festival Symphony Orchestra. As a teacher, he takes pride in creating a healthy and diverse music making environment for his students. He regularly works with middle school, high school, and adult horn players throughout Florida and Texas. His main focus is to set musicians up to be able to freely explore and experiment with music by giving them the tools needed to succeed. Outside of music, he enjoys cooking, bike riding, and taking care of his cat, La’Cari.

John Vietta brings twenty-five years of comprehensive brass pedagogical experience to his teaching, grounded in graduate-level studies in trumpet performance at Columbus State University. A versatile performer and educator, he is highly proficient across a spectrum of brass, string, and keyboard instruments, including the Trumpet, Cornet, French Horn, and Baroque Trumpet. John actively contributes to the regional North Texas music scene, performing with several area ensembles, including the Dallad Brass Band, the Sherman Symphony Orchestra, and as lead trumpet with the Greater Texoma Jazz Orchestra.

Noah Davies is a trombonist and composer known for his expressive and energetic musical abilities, whose passion lies in spreading the joy of music to others. Noah’s mission in music is to instill positive feelings and emotions through his work, whether that be through trombone performances or his musical compositions.

Noah has recently graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music Performance in May 2025. During his time at Baylor, Noah studied under the renowned Brent Phillips. While at Baylor, Noah was a member of multiple notable ensembles, such as the Baylor University Symphonic Band, as well as the trombonist of the Express Brass Quintet, an all-undergraduate brass quintet formed in 2021 during his first year at Baylor. Noah was also invited to participate in numerous notable summer seminars/institutes, including The Eastman Summer Trombone Institute, The Rafael Mendéz Brass Institute, the Southwestern Trombone Conference, The D.C Trombone Workshop, and the Michael Mulcahy Trombone Seminar. Noah will go on to study at the University of North Texas starting in August of 2025, where he will pursue a Master’s of Music Performance

Outside of Noah’s trombone endeavors, he enjoys musical composition, a passion initially conceived during his high school years, taking an AP Music Theory class, and composing small works for various instruments on the side. Now, Noah has composed numerous works primarily for trombone ensemble. Most notably, his work “Testament”, a piece that serves as an homage to his time at Baylor University. This piece was premiered at the widely known American Trombone Workshop in March of 2025. The piece was received very positively, which has pushed Noah to write more works, such as another trombone ensemble piece and a brass quintet. Noah hopes to be able to keep spreading his music anywhere he can!

Outside of the music world, Noah also enjoys visual art, practicing different mediums such as different styles of sketching and painting. Noah also enjoys spending time with his dogs Emma and Ali, and his cat, Theo, alongside his wonderful fiancée, Lauryn.

Originally from South Texas, Devin Saenz is a Euphoniumist and educator. Devin has recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at UNT, he has had the opportunities to perform with the UNT Wind Ensemble, 7 O’ Clock Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, UNT Brass Band, UNT 2025 Collegium Band, Tuba-Euph Quartet, and Euphonium Quartet. At the moment, he is studying under Ryan McGeorge as a Master’s student in Euphonium Performance with a related field in wind band conducting. He is also currently in the UNT Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Andrew Trachsel. Devin hopes to share his passion for music through performance and education, while also cultivating strong work ethics in his students. Outside of music, he enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, and playing videos games.

Originally from Grand Junction, Colorado, Parker Burkey earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in tuba performance from the University of North Texas. There, he studied with Donald Little and Matthew Good in addition to teaching his own studio as a graduate teaching fellow. At summer festivals he has also studied with Cristina Cutts, Aaron Tindall, and Scott Sutherland. Parker has performed with multiple symphonies including Wichita, Grand Junction, and Lone Star Wind Orchestra in Dallas. He is currently Principal Tubist of the West Texas Symphony in Midland, Texas, and Tubist of its resident brass quintet, Lone Star Brass. In addition to performing, Parker enjoys teaching private tuba lessons in the greater Dallas area and serving as Adjunct Instructor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of Texas Permian Basin.

Chris Curtis is a well-rounded educator and percussionist with over 12 years of experience. Chris graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas earlier in 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He has performed in a wide variety of ensembles, ranging from chamber percussion, steel band, orchestra, marching band, jazz band, rock band, African Ensemble, and Brazilian Bateria. He has attended and performed at the Midwest Clinic and Convention twice, and has been teaching lessons to all age and experience levels for almost 5 years. Chris has experience playing and teaching mallets, snare drum, piano, drum set, vibraphone, and timpani. Outside of band, Chris enjoys cooking, collecting/learning exotic instruments, and urban design. He currently lives in Denton and teaches an active studio of
middle and high schoolers in the North Texas area.

Noah Gordon is an award winning performer that is in his first year of teaching with Aubrey ISD. He has previously taught the Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps this past summer as a quad tech. Noah has performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2024 and 2025, as well as with the Troopers in 2022 and 2023. He also has competed individually at PASIC, winning the Quad I&E solo category in 2021, 2023, and 2024. Outside of marching, Noah is an active drum set player and teacher, and is a UNT class of 2025 alumni.
