Our banquet is scheduled for Friday, May 5th at 7pm. This event will be a special celebration to end a fun and successful school year and we hope you can join us! It will be held at TWU in Denton in the Southwest Ballroom in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall (301 Administration Dr, Denton, TX 76201).
Tickets will go on sale starting tomorrow morning and will end next Tuesday, April 25th. Ticket prices are $15 for band students and $30 for everyone else. You can pay with cash or check made out to the Aubrey Band Boosters. Do not put money in the safe for banquet tickets, it must be handed to Mr. Mutz because he will be giving you tickets in return. You will not be allowed to purchase tickets at the door. All tickets must be pre purchased.
If you need to purchase tickets via myschoolbucks (under band fees), that will work, but there are 2 additional steps you must follow. Once you send money through myschoolbucks, then send an email to Mr. Mutz (cmutz@aubreyisd.net) stating who the tickets are for. Lastly, have your band student see Mr. Mutz to receive the tickets.
The dress for this event is semi-formal. We are having this event catered and it will be served buffet style. Below is the menu.
If you would like the vegetarian option, please let Mr. Mutz know when you are ordering your tickets. The vegetarian option will be chef salad (w/cheese and egg) and ranch dressing and will also include all of the sides listed above.
Congratulations to Nicolas Devoir, Josue Lopez, and Xander Rouk on an impressive performance with the ATSSB All-State Symphonic Band at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio! This is Xander’s 3rd year in a row and Josue’s 2nd year in a row making state!
