Aubrey Marching Classic
Saturday, October 4th, 2025 – Music/Marching- Music/Marching: Entries
– Open to first 20 bands (2a-5a ONLY)
– Entry Fee: $375 (make check payable to Aubrey Band Boosters)
– Gate passes are included for directors and chaperones
Judging Format
The judging format will be identical to the UIL Area Marching Contest format. There will be 3 music judges and 2 marching judges. The music caption will be 60% of the overall score and the marching caption will be 40% of the overall score.

Prelims Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place trophies will be awarded in each classification. In addition, there will be class awards for each caption for prelims only: Music, Visual, Percussion, and Auxiliary.
Finals Format
The top 10 bands from prelims will advance to finals and the performance order will be determined by a draw. Best in Class groups not in the top 10 will have the option to perform in exhibition at the beginning of finals.
Finals Awards
All bands performing in finals will receive a finalist trophy.
The contest program will be posted here as soon as it is available (late September).
Performance
– 15 minutes total time (field warm-up, performance, off the field)
– 30 minute warm-up/15 minutes transition time
PRELIMS TIME: 9:45 AM – 5:00 PM
FINALS TIME: 7:15 PM – 10:15 PM

The performance schedule will be posted here as soon as it is available (mid September).
Performance Recording
Each band will receive a high camera view recording of their bands performance (taken from the top of the press box). This will be sent via google drive link to the director’s email that was provided on the registration form. Note: Feel free to have a parent or staff member take pictures or record from the stands; however, no one will be allowed to enter the top of the press box.
