The Aubrey Band Program has 3 main forms of technology to communicate information to our students, parents, and band families. All information will be delivered primarily through the band website, Charms email, or via Remind 101.


Charms is an online database the Aubrey Band uses to enter in all student data, and keep track of all forms, inventory, fees, and fundraising monies turned in by each student.

Why is it important for the students and parents to log into charms?

You can keep all your information updated throughout the school year. No need to send your band director an email to inform of any change of information. You can change it instantly by logging on to your student’s profile. You can also see what forms have been turned in as well as any fees paid or owed.

Step 1 – Go to
Step 2 – Examine the Menu Bar across the top of the page, then click on the “Enter Tab”.
Step 3 – Select the “parents/students/members” tab. From there, you will be asked for the school code which is aubreyhsband, now click on the “Enter Charms” button.
Step 4 – You will need your student’s ID #. If you don’t have the ID #, you can find it at the top of your child’s report card or in the parent viewer gradebook. Enter your student’s ID # in the “Student Area Password” box.

From here you will be able to edit your child’s personal information, check balances, and/or send an email to a band director.

Remind 101

The Aubrey High School Band maintains several ways to get your band information: the band website, charms, and much more. Often, when info is really important, we will email it out to the band. Unfortunately, email is sometimes an unreliable system to deliver important news and isn’t great for last minute changes or updates. Many people don’t check their email but once a day. Furthermore, students are relying less on email and more on text messaging than ever.

So, we have Remind 101. Whenever important info needs to be distributed, last minute changes arise, or important deadlines come up, we will send out remind message to everyone enrolled in the class. 

Signing up for Text Messages

  1. Text our class code @class code to the phone number 81010. 
  2. Reply to the text messages sent from the Remind team.

Signing up for Smartphone Notifications

  1. Download the Remind app on your Android or IOS device. 
  2. Open the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Tap the + by classes joined and enter our class code @class code.

Please Note: Your/our personal contact information (like cell #’s) will not be visible on Remind.
